    CUSABIO uses the peptide corresponding to amino acids 1-61 of the E.coli CsrA protein as the immunogen to immunize the rabbit to generate the CsrA antibody. This polyclonal antibody exhibits as an unconjugated IgG. It only reacts with E.coli CsrA protein, which is a homodimeric RNA binding protein involved in the posttranscriptional regulation of gene expression. The CsrA protein also modulates flagellar motility and glycogen levels. Its purity is greater than 95% using protein G purified. It has been validated for use in ELISA and WB applications.
