A peptide corresponding to the 20-459 amino acids of the recombinant Rabies virus Glycoprotein protein was inoculated into the rabbit to collect the anti-serum. The anti-Rabies virus Glycoprotein polyclonal antibody was obtained from the rabbit serum by utilizing protein G affinity chromatography. It has a purity of 95%+.

This Glycoprotein polyclonal antibody is only reactive with Rabies virus species. It has passed through quality and functionality testing in the ELISA and WB. Users can use this antibody to help to measure the levels or identify the size of the Rabies virus Glycoprotein.

功能：

Attaches the virus to host cellular receptor, inducing endocytosis of the virion. In the endosome, the acidic pH induces conformational changes in the glycoprotein trimer, which trigger fusion between virus and cell membrane. There is convincing in vitro evidence that the muscular form of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR), the neuronal cell adhesion molecule (NCAM), and the p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR) bind glycoprotein and thereby facilitate rabies virus entry into cells.
