    The DBP polyclonal antibody is a rabbit-derived antibody that has been specifically designed to target the DBP protein. The immunogen used to generate this DBP antibody is a recombinant human adenovirus C serotype 5 DBP protein (174-529aa). The Adenovirus C Serotype 5 DBP is a key regulatory protein in the adenovirus DNA replication and packaging.

    DBP mainly functions is to bind to the viral DNA and regulate the transcription of viral genes. It can interact with specific DNA sequences within the adenovirus genome and recruit other viral and cellular proteins to control the timing and efficiency of viral gene expression. This DBP antibody has been purified using protein A/G affinity chromatography. It has been validated for use in two applications, including ELISA and WB. And it shows reactivity with human adenovirus C serotype 5 samples.
